Cher slammed on Twitter

She might be one of the most successful pop stars of all time but it seems that singer Cher has upset her fans with a recent Twitter post. The Turn Back Time singer posted a Tweet in response to the tragic bombing in Istanbul. The Tweet read ‘WE ALL PRAY FOR INNOCENT PPL IN TURKEY AIRPORT’. However, accompanying the sombre message was an emoji of a bomb, something which her followers found very insensitive.

Responses to the message were damning with users posting comments such as ‘@cher You need help; using emoji’s like that for such a tragedy…SMH!’ and ‘really Cher? Bomb emojis? Grow up!’ The singer posted the message after terrorists, who were believed to be part of Islamic State, attacked Istanbul International Airport on Tuesday night. It seems that Cher was trying to offer her condolences but read the mood a little wrong.

This is not the only drama engulfing Cher’s life at the moment. She is currently battling a financial firm that she claimed gave her terrible investment advice. She reportedly invested up to a million dollars on advice which she how now branded risky and unsound. The singer is also known to have a difficult relationship with her daughter who is a lesbian.
