In a shocking Hollywood twist to rival the blunder at the Oscars on Sunday, it seems that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston may be rekindling their friendship – a decade after their bitter divorce hit the headlines.
According to US Weekly the actor, who has recently split from actress Angelina Jolie, found Aniston’s number through connections in Hollywood and reached out to wish her a happy birthday. A source said ‘Brad told her he’s having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past.’
The pair have not spoken in over a decade since they split following Pitt’s affair with Jolie after they met on the set of Mr and Mrs. The source has also said that Justin Theroux, Jen’s new husband, is totally OK with the pair having a relationship. They said ‘Justin is OK with them being friends [as he knows] Jen just wanted to be nice.’
Angelina filed for divorce from Pitt last year after citing the health of herself and her family as the reason for the split. Rumours of Pitt’s drinking circulated, with some suggesting that his behaviour was out of control. Jolie recently spoke out about the situation saying that they were all going to move forward as a family unit.
