It has been reported that One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has been arrested after a fracas with the paparazzi at the airport in Los Angeles.
The singer arrived off a flight with his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, and was waiting for his luggage when he asked the paparazzi to stop filming him. After an altercation occured between the two, the repirted is said to have perfromed a citizen’s arrest on the British star.
According to documents, the Tomlinson was booked at the station at 11.45pm and was released at 1.32am on Sunday morning. He was also told he had to stump up a whopping $20,000 for his bail. Though this is small change for the singer who is said to worth millions of dollars from his time with the hit group. In the end he was released without having to stump up the cash.
Speakig about the event a source told TMZ magazine ‘Louis was really upset. After being filmed he told the snapper to stop, but he didn’t take kindly to the request.’ They went on to add ‘The row turned into a scuffle causing airport security to pull them apart.’
Tomlinson is set to appear in court later this month.
