Sharon Stone speaks about condition which prevented her having children

Hollywood superstar Sharon Stone has spoken out about not being able to have children of her own. In a moving interview, the actress opened up about her autoimmune condition which makes it difficult for her to carry a baby to full term. The of many films, including Basic Instinct, had several miscarriages while she was married to Phil Bronstein between 1998 and 2003. Instead Stone adopted three boys which are now aged between 10 and 16.

The actress told Closer magazine that she feels like they have an even closer bond because they are adopted. ‘The other day, I asked my son Laird if he knew how much I loved him and he said, “Yeah. Because you chose me.’ She added ‘I watch videos from when they were small and am absolutely enthralled by that. But those moments just keep coming.’ Stone also spoke about how her children have got her through many difficult times in her life. ‘I think that love is the greatest faith there is and if you stay faithful in your love, then you’re going to be OK.’

She is set to star in a new movie called A Little Something For Your Birthday. The film tells the story of a fashion designer looking for love and success – the film documents her life year by year on her birthday.
