Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black have taken to Instagram to share their joy after getting married on Saturday. The pair married at Bovey Castle at the weekend, surrounded by friends and family. Tom shared a picture of the pair walking down the aisle hand in hand, calling Black the ‘love of his life’. Tom continued ‘We shared the day with 120 of our closest friends and family, from Texarkana to Plymouth! Thank you to everyone who made this weekend the most special weekend of our lives!’
Dustin also shared a photo of their special day with the cheeky caption ‘what did you do this weekend?’ The Mirror reported that the couple had their personalities ‘stamped on every detail.’ It is said they dined on British favourites such as Beef Wellington and Eton Mess. It is reported that Tom even baked the wedding cake himself.
It is said to have been an emotional day for Tom after his father died from cancer when he was a teenager. Tom’s mother paid an emotional tribute to her late husband in her speech at the wedding. The day even ended with a stunning fireworks display. A source told a local newspaper ‘Tom and Lance organised the wedding themselves and it had their personalities stamped on every detail.’
