Anna Faris has said that she will always remain close friends with Chris Pratt, despite splitting from the actor earlier this year. In an interview with People, the actress said that they will always have each other. ‘We’ll always have each other and be incredible friends.’
Anna and Chris announced that they were splitting over the summer, with fans expressing their sadness at the much-loved Hollywood couple calling time on their relationship. Chris said at the time ‘Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.’
In the interview, Faris said it was understandable that fans were upset at their separation. ‘It’s understandable that people seemed so invested in our happiness together.’ Adding ‘All I can say about that is, it’s all true—that we truly adore each other, and we love each other, I think it still comes through.’
Faris and Pratt met on the set of Take Me Home Tonight in 2007. While Faris was married at the time, the pair started dating once her separation from Ben Indra was confirmed. The couple married in 2009 and have a son together who was born in 2012.
