Adele forgets words live on stage

Adele suffered a truly embarrassing moment while on stage in Lisbon in Portugal when she forgot the lyrics to her own song. Ouch!

The Someone Like You star was belting out one of her latest hits, A Million Years Ago, when she stumbled over the words and started to laugh. She then followed up the mishap by playfully announcing ‘S**t, s**t, s**t. Should I sing the right words? Sorry! I started singing the words instead of the chorus.’

The singer also teased the crowd by starting to praise Beyonce, leading much of the audience to think that the Lemonade singer was about to make a special appearance. Though Adele need not worry about trying to compare herself with Beyonce given that she sold 3.8 million copies of her new album, 25, in the first week of its release. Beyonce sold 485,000. Adele has shifted a total of 19 million copies of her album since it was released in November.

The singer recently signed a new deal that is reported to be worth a staggering $132 million! The deal with Sony Music is said to be the biggest for two decades. Though a music source cleared up some facts stating that the star will get a certain amount as an advance and then the rest when she delivers the record. She will also have to pay for the production of the album and roughly 15% managements fees. Still, we think she’ll be able to manage!
