Prince died of overdose report claims

It has been confirmed that the US singer Prince died from an accidental overdose of the drug fentanyl. The report came out of Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Minnesota just over a month after the Purple Rain singer was found dead at his home. Dr Michael Schulenberg is now in the spotlight after it was reported that he prescribed the star the drug several times in the run-up to his death.

The report goes on to say that Prince self-administered fentanyl. It is a drug which comes from the opiate family but is well-known to be several times stronger. The singer was found dead at his home on 21st April. Paramedics tried to revive him but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The star was thought to be suffering from ill heath at the time of his death, with a reported medical emergency occurring just days before he died. The autopsy also revealed the shocking fact that Prince only weighed 112 pounds at the time of his death and that he had recently spent $40,000 on a six-month supply of the drug which eventually killed him.

Prince’s drugs dealer has said that the singer was a heavy user for a long time before his death. ‘I first met Prince in 1984 while he was filming the movie Purple Rain and he was already majorly addicted to opiates – I didn’t hook him on drugs he was already a really heavy user,’
