The drama between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continues today with reports suggesting that they are trying to settle out of court, just days before the pair were set to appear before a judge. The hearing which was set for Friday has reportedly now been cancelled with the hope that they can come to an agreement without legal mediation.
This all comes after the couple announced their divorce just weeks ago amid claims that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor had been violent towards his wife of just 15 months, Amber Heard. Though an agreement between the pair seems like it will be tough to come by as Heard is said to be asking Depp for a whopping $50,000 a month in spousal support, despite the short time which they have been married.
Just days after reports about the divorce surfaced Heard, who starred alongside Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl, was spotted in public with a bruise on her face; this is said to have occurred when Depp threw a phone at her face. The news about the split came at a tricky time for the Hollywood star as he was doing the promotion for his new film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, at the time. The film has bombed with critics but still made an impressive $190 million at the US box office.
