Jagger set to be a dad again at 72

Traditionally he might be more famous for being the lead singer of the Rolling Stones but Mick Jagger might soon be seen in a very different light after he announced that he is set to become a father again at the age of 72. A spokesperson for the musician confirmed the news with a statement reading ‘this is great news. It will be Mick’s eighth child and nothing fazes him. He’s been incredibly supportive.’

The new arrival will be Mick’s eighth child, many of which he has had in later years. The mother of unborn child is Melanie Hamrick, who at 29 is a staggering 43 years younger than the Rolling Stone star. The pair have been together for the past two years and were first spotted in public back in 2014 when they were seen on a balcony together at a hotel in Munich.

Melanie is a professional ballet dancer and has performed many with many artistic organisations including the American Ballet Theatre. The dancer who lives in the United States is not thought to be planning to relocate as she wants to be close to family who live in Connecticut.
Jagger has children with four other women including four with former model Jerry Hall who recently married the media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
