Singer Chris Brown has been released on bail after being arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. The star was taken into custody yesterday after what is reported to be a stand-off with police at his mansion in California. A call was made to police in the early hours by a former contender for Miss California after Brown is said to have pointed a gun at her friend.
After a stand-off lasting several hours Brown was arrested by police but has since been released on bail after stumping up a whopping quarter of a million dollars. Just hours after being released Brown posted a message on social media saying ‘real friends!!!!! The world will see!!! TRUST ME.’ Presumably this was a plea of his innocence. The star’s lawyer also took to social media to share his thoughts on the case. He said ‘Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false.’ Officials would make no further comment on the case at this time.
Brown did not appear happy about the police presence and accused them of fabricating incidents so that they could detain him. He could be heard saying ‘I’m way too tired to be dealing with this bulls***.Every three months you come up with something. What’s gonna be next?’
