Shocking details have some to light revealing the troubled relationship between Melaine Brown and her husband Stephen Belafonte. According to a source, her husband also flew into a range over the former Spice Girls relationship with Cheryl Cole on the X-Factor. He is said to have been jealous of her flirty relationship with the British singer. ‘Mel was taken with Cheryl but it was harmless fun.’ The source also said that he liked to be in control of everything.
Mel was also absent from the first live show of the X-Factor shows back in 2014. She experienced pains when she got into the car to head to the television studios and it quickly became clear that something was wrong. ‘Mel was in so much pain that the driver rushed her straight to the hospital. It was a terrifying episode – he had no idea if Mel was going to be OK or not. He’s been the one constant at her side ever since.’ Mel returned to the show the next day but appeared to be covered in bruises with marks and on arms and her face.
Mel recently filed for divorce from her husband Stephen Belafonte and the papers document a string of abuse claims. She has also filed for a temporary restraining order from her husband.
