Jada Pinkett Smith has said that despite her long and happy marriage to husband, Will Smith, she doesn’t want her daughter, Willow, to marry young. I would just talk to her and say… ‘There’s no rush; there’s a lot of life to live.’ That is despite the fact that Jada married Will when she was just 25 years-old and the couple are still together. The 45-year-old admitted that she actually never wanted to get married.
Jada also gave listeners some sounds advice about being with somebody for a significant period of time. She said ‘We’re getting to a place of a new understanding…As you get older, everything is changing. Everything. So there’s a lot of check ins, a lot of redefining.’
She also revealed that she had a troubled youth – failing high school and even turning to drug dealing to make money. ‘I thought I was going to be the next female Scarface in Baltimore, I was dealing drugs. Can you believe that?’
