Meghan Markle has opened up about her relationship with Prince Harry in a candid interview with Vanity Fair magazine. The American actress who has been dating the member of the royal family for almost a year now admitted that the two are incredibly happy and in love.
Markel, who stars in the TV Suits, hinted that they will make their relationship formal sometime in the future but for now they are enjoying having time to themselves. She conformed ‘We’re a couple. We’re in love. I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time.’
There was speculation that the couple got engaged over the summer when they visited Botswana to celebrate Meghan’s 36th birthday. Harry’s older brother, William, also proposed to Kate Middleton on a trip to Africa – fueling the rumours that marriage is looming.
When questioned about the frenzy that comes from dating a Prince, Meghan admitted that some days are tougher than others. ‘It has its challenges, and it comes in waves — some days it can feel more challenging than others.’
The star said that when it comes down to it they are just two people in love and being with a member of the royal family hasn’t changed who she is as a person. ‘Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship.’
