Jada Pinkett Smith has slammed Leah Remini’s claims that she is a member of the Church of Scientology. In her new book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, Remini recounted a story where Tom Cruise asked celebrities to play hide and seek at a party.
After thinking that the Top Gun actor was joking she soon realised he was serious. ‘H literally wanted to play hide-and-seek with a bunch of grown-ups in what was probably close to a 7,000-square-foot house on almost three full acres of secluded land.’
Jada, who is married to a Hollywood actor, said that her story was not true and Tom was simply having fun with the children. Leah didn’t take kindly to this and then accused her of being a member of the Church of Scientology. She told The Daily Beast ‘I know Jada’s in. I know Jada’s in. She’s been in Scientology a long time.’
She admitted that she has never seen Will there but was holding form about her belief that Jada was a member of the controversial group. ‘I never saw Will [Smith] there, but I saw Jada at the Celebrity Centre. They opened up a Scientology school and have since closed it. But Jada, I had seen her at the Scientology Celebrity Centre all the time.”
