Kim Kardashian has spoken out about starring on Keeping Up With The Kardashians for almost a decade. The wife of Kanye West said that the moment she is most proud of is broadcasting the transition of her step-father Caitlyn Jenner.
In an interview with E News the star said ‘I’m really proud that we did.’ She added that she thinks that showing it may have helped other people come out about their gender issues. ‘Even though I feel like some things we really unknown and we were really scared about the outcome even showing the emotions of going through the transition. Just for other people that might be going through the same thing, maybe we can help someone.’
Kim said that the best thing that anybody can do is be themselves. ‘I think if you can just tell your story and help someone, whether it’s getting over fears or just being your true self. I mean, if we can help teach someone something, then I think it’s so worth it and that makes me proud.’
Kim herself admitted that they didn’t expect the show to be such a big success. Kourtney and Khloe said that they were the most relaxed about the whole filming process. ‘Kourtney and I were like fully in the store, she was in Smooch, I was in DASH. And we were literally told we’ll film around the stores to make you guys comfortable. We did not care.’
