Music mogul Simon Cowell has been rushed to hospital following a fall at his home in London. The 58-year-old judge was spotted being loaded into an emergency ambulance this morning while wearing a neck brace. A source close to Cowell said that he fell down the stairs. ‘It’s been a scary morning. It was very early and Simon was going down his stairs to get some hot milk because he couldn’t sleep.’ They added Simon fainted which is what caused him to fall.
Simon’s management has not confirmed the cause of the fall or if the star is having any other tests but reports suggest that people have seen Cowell back on his feet after the terrifying incident. Executives at the TV network ITV are said to be holding emergency meetings after it is unsure if he will be fit to appear on the UK X-Factor tomorrow.
Saturday is the launch of the live shows of the X-Factor’s 14t series and Simon is scheduled to appear alongside fellow judges Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh. Simon splits his time between LA and London where he lives with his partner Lauren Silverman and his 3-year-old son Eric.
