Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has mocked the Trump administration after dislocating her finger. The comedian and movie star explained on her chat show that the accident occurred after she had a few glasses of wine. She said ‘I had two glasses of wine and fell into a door.’
She went on to share more details saying that she was returning from a dinner party with her wife when the mishap occurred. Explaining the incident she said ‘We were at the door, the dogs were so excited to see us and I caught the lip of the top step. I was a foot away from the door and I fell into the door and it did something to my finger, I knew something was wrong.’
Never one to lose her sense of humour, the 59-year-old joked about Trump’s wishes to retract Obama’s healthcare plans. ‘My first thought was, No big deal, Obama Care will cover this.’ The star also joked that everybody in the hospital was asking her to sign things for people. ‘And when I got there, of course, the receptionist had so many things for me to sign: a picture for her nephew, a T-shirt for her.’
