George Michael’s family have evicted his ex-boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, from the singer’s house so that they can out it on the market. A source has claimed the family want to sell the Regent’s Park property, said to be worth around $7 million, as it reminds them of the bad times Gorge went through. It is thought that this is the house where he did most of his drinking and drug taking.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, the source said ‘Fadi will be so sad as he loves the Regent’s Park house and it holds so many fond memories spent there with George.’ The source added that although the news will come as a blow to Fawaz he won’t cause any problems if it is the family’s wish that they sell the Wham singer’s home. The source also said that they will sell the Oxfordshire estate where George passed away on Christmas Day last year.
The family are said to be keeping George’s Highgate property and renting it out to VIPs and diplomats for a staggering $30,000 a month. One of the reasons for holding onto this property is the happy memories that Gorge and his family had there over the years.
Another report also claims that Michael’s ex is set to make millions of dollars from a book that will document the last days of George’s life. He was the last person to see him before he passed away at the age of 53.
