Beyonce wins big at BET Awards

The great and good of the African-American entertainment and sports worlds were out in force last night for the 17th annual BET awards. Leslie Jones of Saturday Night Live hosted the event which was held at the Microsoft Theatre in LA. The awards, which were originally established by Black Entertainment Television, are held annually to celebrate the best of African-American culture in the fields of film, music and sports, as well as giving out awards for humanitarian work.
