Johnny Depp slams allegations he has psychological issues

Actor Jonny Depp has claimed that his former colleagues who have said that he has ‘psychological issues’ and a compulsive spending disorder’ are attempting to damage his public image. Depp is currently locked in a court battle over a $25 million bill.

In documents obtained by a British newspaper, Depp has said that comments by those challenging him are ‘irrelevant and improper’ and they are only doing so to ‘viciously attack’ him. The actor filed a lawsuit against his former managers for millions of dollars. He fired them back in 2016 and the relationship has been difficult since them.

Depp has said that he paid them $28 million while they worked for him but has since filed for fraud and negligence against them. He’s also accused them of using his money to invest in businesses which they had personal interests in. They have denied the claims and said that Depp is a compulsive spender, at some points even spending $30,000 a month on wine. In total, they have said Depp still owes them over $4 million.

Despite all the mud throwing, the judge looking at the case has stated that the actor’s spending habits are not relevant to the issue. He did, however, permit the claims of fraud to go ahead. There have been several cross-complaints but the case is still proceeding in the courts.
