He has been making the headlines for his colourful behaviour over the past several years but after the revelation about his HIV positive status, actor Charlie Sheen is turning a corner when it comes to his public image.
The actor is said to be in discussions with networks about a new television show that will document what it is like living with HIV, as well as offering a broader picture into the actors life now he has addressed his drug and alcohol addiction. A source close to the actor said ‘he’s met with various producers,’ adding ‘he’d really open up and allow the cameras inside his world.
Lat year in a candid television interview the actor revealed that he was HIV-positive and had in fact been so for the past four years. He cited that being diagnosed with the condition as one of the reasons that he turned to drugs and alcohol but insisted that he eas always honest with his sexual partners about his condition.
Sheen has not had an acting role since 2014 after his Anger Management series was cancelled. During his highly successful stint on Two and Half Men, Sheen was the highest paid actor in America earning a staggering $1.8 million an episode.
