Another drama had rocked the Kardashian household after Caitlyn Jenner failed to turn up for Kylie’s 19th birthday party. The reality star and former olympian was set to attend the party but instead was spotted out shopping for her groceries in California. Caitlyn was approached by fans while she was doing her shopping and seemed to find it difficult to muster a smile for the camera as people asked her to take a selfie.
On her way home Caitlyn stopped to pick up her pizza for one, while the rest of her family were busy celebrating Kylie’s 19th birthday. The rest of the Kardashian clan, including Kim and husband Kanye, were out in force for the celebrations.
This is not the first time that Caitlyn has not been involved in family gatherings since her transition. She also did not attend Kylie’s graduation. At the time, Kris Jenner said that this was normal after a family separation. She said ‘usually people that get a divorce don’t do everything together.’ Adding that ‘it wasn’t malicious, it didn’t intend to hurt anybody’s feelings, but my feelings still weren’t healed.’
Whether Caitlyn wasn’t invited to the celebration or she choose to stay away is not known, either way, we hope that Caitlyn manages to find some people with her family and they can all move forward happily.
