The drinking age might be 21 in the United States, but in England it’s a mere 18, meaning that Brooklyn Beckham was legally able to drink his first pint in a pub to celebrate his 18th birthday.
Wearing a trendy tweed hat, Brooklyn shared a snap of himself in the pub with his 9 million followers on the social media app Instagram. Brooklyn is the eldest of David and Victoria’s children and was born just a few months before the couple wed in a lavish wedding back in 1999.
His famous parents also took to social media to share their thoughts on their son turning 18. David said ‘From day one he never slept through the night the only way he would fall asleep is when I took him out in the car and it had to be Boyzone on the radio and he would drop right off….’
The tone turned a little more serious when David shared with the world how proud he is of his son adding ‘Brooklyn has gone from this beautiful baby boy to become this handsome, polite and driven young man .. I’m proud that he lived through my career with me and I’m even prouder about the person that he has become.’
