Liam Gallagher slams brother Noel’s emotional concert appearance

Liam Gallagher has slammed his brother Noel after his performance at the reopening Manchester Arena concert on Saturday. Liam called his sibling’s apperance at the concert a ‘PR stunt’ and said that he ‘he doesn’t give a f***.’ Noel broke down on stage when paying tribute to the 22 people who dies when an Ariana Grande concert was hit by a terrorist attack earlier this year.

The singer was performing his hit Don’t Look Back in Anger when the emotion of the event seemed to touch the pop icon. The song became an anthem of hope in the days following the attack in Manchester. Noel gave an insopiring speech about the power of music following the devistating events. ‘Every time you sing, we win. So sing like you’ve never sang before.’

Liam quickly took to social media to slam his brother’s display of emotion at the event to mark the reopening of the arena. He said ‘NG broke down in tears cmon you seriously ain’t buying that he doesn’t give a f***.’ Adding ‘Don’t buy into his PR stunt he doesn’t give a f***.’

The pair who rose to fame back in the 1990s famously fell out back in 2009. Fans were quick to defend Noel as they pointed out that it was wrong for his brother to claim it was all a PR stunt when he hadn’t even bothered to turn up to the event.
