She is known as one of the most glamorous women in Hollywood, and Julia Roberts didn’t disappoint last night when she collected her award for ‘woman of the decade’ at the Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards. She looked every inch the star in a classic black jumpsuit with sophisticated lace detailing. The star looked relaxed, comfortable and much younger than her 48 years.
The actress shot to fame in the 1990’s in the film Pretty Woman in which she played a prostitute and also received acclaim in the comedy Erin Brockovich, for which she won the Academy Award in 2001. And there are no signs of her career slowing down with two big releases this summer. Roberts is starring in Mother’s Day, a romantic comedy with the likes of Jennifer Aniston and also Money Monster alongside George Clooney. The film is directed by Jodie Foster who starred in the classic thriller Silence of the Lambs. In the film Roberts plays a TV producer who has to take control when her presenter is held to ransom in the studio.
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won guys of the year with Keifer Sutherland and Anna Kendrick also taking home an award from the event which was held in Culver City.
