It seems that it not just Adele that can cash in on her relationship misfortunes. Calvin Harris has also used his recent break up to pop star Taylor Swift as material for his new song. According to reports Harris, who is 32, thinks that the singer started dating actor Tom Hiddleston before she officially ended the relationship with him. Clearly Calvin is not happy about this and has decided to tell the world through his new song which is released later this week.
The song, which is believed to be sung from the perspective of the rumoured James Bond to be, includes the lyrics ‘low key, you won’t tell none of your friends about me.’ The song goes on to say ‘you’ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell.’
It seems that this is due to the fact that Taylor kept Tom a secret from the world after they hit it off at the Met Gala as she was still dating Scottish DJ Calvin at the time. A source added that ‘if Calvin claims he wasn’t working on this before the Met Ball, he’s lying.’ The couple broke up in May after dating for 15 months.
