We all love him as the cheeky singer in One Direction but Harry Styles in undertaking a whole new career path starring in a new movie. Harry, who is only 22 but has achieved international fame with his fellow band mates, was spotted filming scenes for the film in Holland on Friday. The singer was looking very serious due to the nature of the film which is set to be a World War Two epic depicting the battle of Dunkirk.
A spokesperson for the film said ‘Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.’
The actor cut off his famous locks for the role and donated his hair to a charity which provides wigs to children suffering from cancer. Harry’s actions caused thousands of others to follow suit also donate their hair to the great cause.
However, for those who are a fan of seeing Harry on stage have much to look forward to. The singer is not relinquishing his career as a pop star and is said to have signed a three album deal with Columbia records for a figure in the region of $75 to $80 million.
