They are rarely seen in public together, but that all changed at the weekend when the remaining two members of the Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited over their passion for music. Ringo took to social media to share the special moment with their fans all over the world. He said on his Instagram ‘Thanks for coming over man and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love’. The pair were also spotted out and about on Wednesday night in California having dinner with friends. One of those friends was none other than Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks!
The pair, who are both in their seventies, don’t see each other much these days and even missed the funeral of their close friend – Cilla Black. The Beatles rocketed to fame in the 1960s and 70s with hits like Eleanor Rigby, Hey Jude and Yesterday. The band lost their first member several decades ago when John Lennon was shot outside his apartment in Manhattan.
