Cheryl and Liam Payne have finally announced the birth of their first child – a baby boy who was born on Wednesday. The 33-year-old singer took to Instagram to share the special news with her millions of followers. Speculation has been rife for months about when the baby would be born. The couple has been very private about the whole process.

Former bandmate Sarah Harding, who has fallen out with Cheryl in the past, shared her excitement at the news of the new arrival. Liam’s mum also shared her joy at becoming a grandmother for the first time with the world. Also adding how proud she was of all her children. ‘Finally I can boast that I am a grandmother! The pair first met when Liam Payne auditioned for the X Factor back in 2010 when Cheryl was a judge on the program. Despite being ten years older than Liam, it seems that Cheryl has finally found love after two high-profile marriages and divorces.
