It’s 11 years since Will, Grace, Jack and Karen appeared on our screens but in the new poster released by NCB, the fabulous foursome doesn’t look to have aged a day! Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes looked thrilled to be reunited for the photoshoot for the upcoming return of the hit comedy series. The tagline of the poster read ‘Did somebody say encore?’
The series has been commissioned for a further 12 episodes after the cast got together late last year to film a 10 minuet election special. Megan Mullaly, who plays Karen in the show, took to Twitter to share her excitement at the reunion. She accompanied the picture with one of her character’s favourites quotes ‘here we go again honey.’
Debra Messing has spoken about how she feels America needs the show right now. She said ‘It’s been a stressful year and I want to make people laugh, and I think more than anything that’s what we are all feeling right now, is we want to make people laugh.’
The show follows the life of a gay lawyer, Will Trueman, and his best friend Grace Adler. Also featured were friends Jack McFarland and his millionaire best friend Karen Walker. The series was nominated for multiple Emmy awards, winning 16 out of its 18 nominations. The original writers and producers will return for the show’s relaunch later this year.
