Christiano Ronaldo has shared an adorable picture of himself and his son cuddling his newborn twins. Ronaldo and Ronaldo Junior can be seen holding the twins who were born just days ago in what looks to be a tropical location on holiday. The footballer shared the snap with his 105 million followers on Instagram. The sports star captioned the picture ‘blessed’ sharing his delight at becoming a father for the second and third time!
According to Portuguese media, the sportsman is now father to a girl named Eva and a boy named Mateo after using a surrogate mother who is said to be from the Western coast of the United States. Despite suffering professional disappointment in recent days it seems that the footballer is just happy to be spending time with his new family. He said ‘Unfortunately, we have not been able to achieve the main sporting objective we wanted, but I am sure we will continue to give the Portuguese joy. I am very happy to finally be able to be with my children for the first time.’
Ronaldo was granted permission to leave the Confederations Cup early so that he could spend time with his new family. A statement released by the organisation read ‘The President of the FPF and the National Team were informed before the Confederations Cup by the National Team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, that he had been a father.’
