Normally when you get engaged, some of the first people you tell are your parents. But it seems for Princess Eugeine’s boyfriend this was not the case, as the first his parents heard about the impending nuptials of the happy couple was on the news!
After Jck Brooksbank’s mother phoned him to asked why she had not been told, Jack told her that it was not an official engagement but rather an agreement between them that they would get married at some point within the next two years.
Many have commented that Jack is an odd choie for the Princess as he is a barman and nightclub manager, an unusual choice for a memeber of the royal family. Given his career choice it also seems strange that he has promised Eugeine that he will no longer work nights so he can spend more time with her.
It has also been reported this week that the Princess, who is 16th in line to the throne, is set to move into Kensington Palace, the current residence of William, Kate and Harry. She is set to move into Ivy Cottage, a three bedroomed property in the extenisve Palace area. Kensington Palace is also the former home of Diana Princess of Wales.
