Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson has been handed a 270-day jail sentence after stabbing a woman back in 2015. According to news website TMZ, the actor eventually took a deal which sees him jailed for almost a year before serving five years on probation. However, the judge reduced his sentence to 161 days after Jeremy already spent 109 days in custody.
Jeremy was first arrested back in 2015 after he stabbed a woman near her home in Los Angeles following an argument between the pair. It was suggested that he lashed out at the stranger when she attempted to prevent him from stealing her partner’s car. In the past, he has also been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. In this incident, a man claimed that he was stabbed nine times by the actor who was attempting to steal from him.
The star’s personal battles are well-documented. The actor left the Baywatch series in 1999 because he was suffering from a severe drug addiction. In 2014 he was also removed from the UK series of Big Brother after he groped a fellow contestant when she was drunk in the toilet. The actor has also been accused of attempting to murder his ex-wife after a shocking recording was released back in 2012. The recording captures Jackson trying to strangle his wife before police arrived at the scene. All charges were dropped after his wife decided not to press charges.
