Tickets for Ariana Grande tribute concert sell out in minutes

Tickets for Ariana Grande’s tribute concert in Manchester have sold out in under 6 minutes. Around 45,000 tickets went on sale this morning – some tickets were reserved for those who were attending her original concert at Manchester Arena when a bomb exploded last Monday. The gig is set to take place this Sunday and will feature artists such as Justin Beiber, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Usher, Take That, Niall Horan and the Black Eyed Peas.

All the money raised at the concert will go to the Red Cross’ Manchester Emergency Fund and also help the families of the victims who lost their lives in the terrorist attack. There has already been an online backlash with tickets appearing on Ebay with people looking to make a profit. The company has said that it is trying to remove them from its website as quickly as possible. Fans have called the reselling of tickets for profit absolutely sickening.

In the days following the bombing, Grande was said to be in a state of shock. Appearing on the TV show This Morning Camilla Cabello said ‘Yeah, I spoke to her after that happened.’ Adding ‘I’m so sorry, I can’t even imagine.’
