Uma Thurman has lashed out at the disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein calling him a disgrace who ‘doesn’t deserve a bullet.’ The actress has starred in several of his films including Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill franchise.
Therman was originally quizzed about the allegations in October but refused to comment because, at the time, she was too angry to express herself properly. ‘I don’t have a tidy soundbite for you because I have learned, I am not a child. And I have learned that when I’ve spoken in anger, I usually regret the way I express myself.’
However, yesterday the actress took to social media to wish her fans a happy Thanksgiving and to offer an opinion on her former producer. She started her Instagram post on a positive note, stating that she was grateful for her friends and family.
She then took the opportunity to slam Weinstein, saying that he doesn’t even deserve a bullet. ‘Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators. I’m glad it’s going slowly. You don’t deserve a bullet.’ She also posted a critical message to her followers saying ‘stay tuned’, hint at the fact that there is a bigger revelation to follow.
Weinstein has been accused of multiple cases of sexual harassment in a wave of allegations which were started by Rose McGowan and Ashley Judd. He has, so far, not faced arrest and has denied he is a rapist but has said that he is seeking therapy to improve himself.
