Actress Jennifer Lawrence has said that she becomes rude when she is in public places to avoid unwanted attention from fans. Lawrence was speaking in an interview with Variety magazine when she made the interesting comments.
When asked how she deals with being one of the biggest stars in Hollywood the 27-year-old said ‘just, generally, once I enter a public place, I become incredibly rude.’ The actress defended her actions stating that it is her way of defending herself.
Lawrence said that she bluntly answers ‘no’ if somebody asks her for a selfie. Another tactic the actress takes is to say to people who approach her ‘I’m not working today.’ Adam Sandler, who was also being interviewed, joked that he takes a friendlier approach. ‘I sit them down, I feed them. I let them hang out with my kids.’ However, Sandler did admit that he tries to convince fans not to take a selfie. He told Variety he says to fans ‘You don’t want that, man. What are you going to do with it?’
Lawrence, who shot to fame in The Hunger Games, was Hollywood’s highest paid actress in 2015 and 2016 and has regularly spoken out about the gender pay gay in Hollywood. She is also known for her roles in films such as Silver Linings Playbook and Mother!
