The world is an exciting place for Harry Potter fans at the moment, not only has the new play received five-star reviews in London but it has been confirmed that there will be a sequel to the new Harry Potter spin-off.
Fantastic Beasts, which is set to be realised later this year, is a spin-off from the original books and included many of the mythical creates which were present in the 7 part story of Harry and his friends at Hogwarts. However, despite the film not being released for several months, it has already been announced that there will be a sequel to the film.
The film, starring Les Miserables actor Eddie Redmayne, will tell the story of a magical technocrat that releases creatures into a 1920’s New York. Both the novel and the adapted screenplay were penned by author J.K. Rowling.
A spokesperson for Warner Brothers said that the second instalment of the movie ‘moves deeper into an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world.’
J.K Rowling is riding high right now, not only has the new Harry Potter play opened in London to great critical acclaim but the script of the play has also achieved record sales since it went on sale last week.
