Big Lebowski actor Huddleston dies aged 85

David Huddleston the actor who starred in The Big Lebowski and The Santa Claus has died at the age of 85. The actor was born in 1930 and used to be a mechanic in the Air Force before finding fame in show business passed away after heart and liver failure.

Speaking touchingly about the loss of her husband his wife said ‘he’d always make you laugh.’ Adding that her husband had been ‘so amazed as he looked back at what happened in his life.’

His television and big screen hits included Blazing Saddles, The Big Lebowski and Santa Claus. He also made several cameo appearances in TV shows like The West Wing and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

William Brimley who was a fellow actor and close friend of the star describes him as a ‘wonderful human being who was honest and kind and loyal.’
