Morgan Carey, the brother of singing sensation Mariah Carey, has lashed out at his famous sister after she failed to help their sibling who has just been released from prison.
Speaking in an interview to Inside Edtion he spoke how the family feel abandoned by her saying that ‘Mariah doesn’t care about anyone other than herself.’ He went on to speak about the lack of support that she has offered the family given that their sister has just been released from prison for prostitution and also the difficult new that she has been diagnosed as HIV-positive.
He said of Mariah in response to their sister’s troubled history ‘I would hope Mariah could find it in her heart to forgive Alison for her transgressions and step up, create a trust, let’s make sure Alison’s needs are met.’ Morgan, who is also in show business and has worked as an actor and model also claimed that he is partly responsible for his sister’s global success stating that ‘there wouldn’t be a Mariah Carey if it hadn’t been for me.’
Alison Carey was released from prison this week after putting up $1000 bail. According to reports she was engaging in illegal prostitute activity in upstate New York and was said to be a persistent offender.
